What We Believe

 
 

Here at Emit Grove we are a Church who aims to live by Spirit of God, and glorify Him through the way we live. Below you will find an abbreviated list of our core beliefs as a Church, as found in the “Baptist Faith and Message 2000”.

  • Scripture- The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s Revelation of Himself to man. Exodus 24:3; Deuteronomy 4:1-2, 17:19; Joshua 8:34

  • God- There is one and only one living and true God.

    Genesis 1:1; Genesis 18:1; Judges 14:6

  • Man- Man is the special creation of God, made in His own image. However, man chose to follow the desires of their flesh turning away from God.

    Genesis 1:26-30; Psalm 51:5

  • Salvation- Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. Romans 5:8-10; Matthew 1:21
